1. Quranic Studies Class
A weekly roundtable discussion on selected chapters and verses from the Quran, touching on topics relating to the Syariah, history, and the sciences of the Holy Book. Each session contains a segment which shares inspirational and practical verses for our daily lives.

2. Fiqh Fundamentals Course
An 8-week course dedicated to explaining the history of how Fiqh evolved from the days of our Beloved Prophet s.a.w. to the days of the four Imams. We will look into some examples on how rulings were derived during the period of the Companions of the Prophet r.a. and how those principles – as taken from the Quran and Sunnah – can be applied into our everyday practice.

3. An-Nisaa Course
One of Safinah’s most loved courses designed specifically for Muslim women. It addresses the state that most Muslim women find themselves in today; as students of higher knowledge, having a career in the corporate world and at the same time starting a family of their own. It even discusses some issues of how single, married and divorced women should conduct their lives according to the foundations which have been laid out by our religion - in the Quran and Sunnah.
Another module tells stories of how great Muslim women of faith in the past faced major obstacles, made big sacrifices and yet still managed to contribute significantly to their respective communities. These women include Saidatina Khadijah r.a., Saidatina Aisyah r.a. and Hajar a.s.
The content-packed inspirational course also adds in some tips on how to attain the success of this world and the hereafter through the evergreen and ever-relevant advices from Allah and His Messenger s.a.w.

4. Faith Essentials Course
A comprehensive guide on the foundations of a Muslim’s aqeedah and core beliefs. We will be dissecting on each and every one of the 6 pillars of Faith starting with an interesting discussion on the concept of Imaan itself and its multiple branches. Participants will then learn on how to get to know Allah better through His divine Words and flawless creations, appreciating the work of Allah’s Angels, understanding the roles of His Messengers as well as the Books which they were equipped with, discovering the signs of the Day of Judgement according to authentic sources and finally having a clearer grasp on the concept of fate and its relation to our decisions in life.

5. Al-Qasas: In the Footsteps of God’s Chosen Messengers
In this brand new course, participants will relive and experience the lives of Allah’s most beloved Messengers a.s. from Prophet Adam a.s. to Prophet Isa a.s. (a detailed course designed specifically for Prophet Muhammad s.a.w.’s beautifully inspiring life will be available on Wednesday evenings insyaAllah – entitled, “The Prophet’s Character”)
We’ll dig into the rich history of the amazing lives of these blessed men of faith, the challenges they overcame and their profound love for Allah s.w.t.

6. Solat for Adults
8 weeks of intensive lessons on the theory and and practical aspects of the mandatory Muslim prayer.
Week 1: The meaning, command and importance of Solat
Week 2: The history of Solat (pre- and post-Prophethood)
Week 3: Cleanliness – Najasah (impurities), Hadath (ritual impurities), Wudhu’ (ablution) and more.
Week 4: Pre-requisites of Solat
Week 5: Solat movements and recitations (part 1)
Week 6: Solat movements and recitations (part 2)
Week 7: Situational scenarios – Solat and Wudhu’ with an illness, while traveling and in joining a congregation.

7. The Prophet’s Character
This course takes on a unique approach to learning about our beloved Prophet Muhammad’s beautiful character through the study of his inspiring life; from his innocent yet trying childhood, all the way till the period of his remarkable prophethood.

8. Hadith: Living the Spirit of the Sunnah (Part 2)
This course is a follow-up form phase 1.
In this course, participants will be studying some of the most captivating and inspiring words of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. and how we can best embody the values he taught us on a daily basis.

9. What Allah Says About You

10. Fardhu ‘Ain Class
The seeking of religious knowledge and understanding is the responsibility of every Muslim. In this weekly class, we’ll be studying (throughout a 9-month period) all of the key subjects in Islam, such as Tawheed, Fiqh and Akhlaq while discussing their main topics.
This course fits perfectly for those who wish to learn about Islam again from the bottom up, as we cover all the foundations and try to address your main concerns and queries in relation to religious matters.

2. Safinah Spiritual Retreats
There is so much going on in our lives today. With the hectic lifestyle that we live in, the growing demands at the work place for more of your time as well as the demands of your loved ones seeking your love and attention, waiting for you at home.
